Stainless Steel Electrical Enclosure

I. Product Overview

The stainless steel electrical distribution box is a power distribution device manufactured from stainless steel plates, designed to receive and distribute electrical power while providing control, protection, and monitoring functions for circuits. Compared with standard steel enclosures, it offers superior performance in corrosion resistance, rust prevention, and waterproof/dustproof protection. It is particularly suitable for harsh environments involving moisture, dust, and corrosive gases, and is widely used in chemical engineering, metallurgy, pharmaceuticals, food processing, marine engineering, municipal projects, and outdoor applications.

II. Product Materials

The enclosure and door panels are made from high-quality stainless steel plates. Commonly used materials include:

SUS304 Stainless Steel: The most common choice, offering good corrosion resistance, rust prevention, and high strength—suitable for most outdoor and humid environments.

SUS316L Stainless Steel: With added molybdenum, it delivers superior corrosion resistance, especially against chlorides and chemical media—suitable for highly corrosive environments such as coastal areas, chemical plants, and pharmaceutical facilities.

SUS201 Stainless Steel: More cost-effective, suitable for indoor dry environments where corrosion resistance requirements are less demanding.

Sheet thickness is customizable. Surface treatment options include brushed finish, mirror finish, and sandblasting.

III. Product Features

1. Corrosion and Rust Resistance, Waterproof and Dustproof

The stainless steel surface forms a dense oxide film that effectively resists moisture, acids, alkalis, salt spray, and chemical media—preventing rust and corrosion over long-term use. The enclosure features a sealed structure, with weather-resistant sealing strips on door seams. Protection ratings can reach IP54, IP65, or higher, effectively preventing rainwater, dust, and moisture ingress while ensuring the safe operation of internal components. It is particularly suitable for outdoor, humid, coastal, and chemical environments.

2. Sturdy Structure, Safe and Hygienic

The enclosure is processed through bending and welding, offering high strength and excellent rigidity to withstand mechanical impact. Grounding terminals are provided inside to enhance electrical safety. Internal components such as circuit breakers, contactors, and frequency converters can be installed to meet various power distribution and control requirements. The stainless steel surface is smooth and non-porous, making it resistant to dust accumulation and bacterial growth. It is easy to clean and complies with hygiene requirements in the food and pharmaceutical industries.

3. Aesthetic, Flexible, and Customizable

The stainless steel surface offers a fine texture and modern appearance, enhancing the overall image of equipment and facilities. Products can be customized in terms of dimensions, door opening method, viewing windows, control panel layout, and internal component configuration. Multiple installation options are available, including indoor wall-mounted and outdoor floor-standing configurations.

IV. Application Scenarios

Chemical and Metallurgical: Power distribution and control in corrosive gas, acid, and alkali environments

Pharmaceutical and Food: Power distribution equipment for cleanrooms and sterile environments

Marine Engineering: Coastal areas, ships, and docks exposed to salt spray corrosion

Municipal and Outdoor: Street lighting control, park landscapes, and temporary outdoor power supply

Water Treatment: Humid environments such as wastewater treatment plants and water supply facilities

Buildings and Architecture: High-end residential buildings, office towers, and hotels with high aesthetic and protection requirements
